My work explores two fundamental fixations: a deep curiosity about the natural world, and an innate discomfort with the relentless passage of time. I pursue these interests using a rigorous, almost scientific method of experimentation and abstraction to test and transform common aspects of our environment. Often my work involves the measurement of time and the marking of highly personal milestones in unique and surprising ways. Each endeavor sharpens my understanding of my place in the world and aids in the formation of some new question to ask about it.
